The Esporte Clube Vitória (known as Vitória, with the acronym ECV) is a Brazilian multisport club based in the city of Salvador, in the state of Bahia. It was founded on May 13, 1899, under the name Club de Cricket Victoria, later changed to Sport Club Victoria in 1902, and finally to its current name in 1946. It is the oldest club in the Northeast and one of the oldest in Brazil. The club's colors are red and black, and its mascot is the Lion.
